This is the first trial of a Concept Apploader AS3 Flash Menu that uses an XML dynamic background and Icon/Background images. At this stage the applications are hard coded into the AS3 file, however the aim will be to also have those dynamically load from an XML file.
Screenshots and more details will be added soon...
Thanks for the comments. Yes the general look and feel of the menu loader is based on Surface. It was more of a "let's see if I can make one" project. If you have any ideas on a designing a new interface please let us know...
I'm a big fan of you! I have tons of questions, but I know how busy you are. Let me ask one question. How could I make a menu button into external swf file? I can't convert swf to fla without errors.
I have seen in your application, for example in fire.swf the menu button. How could you do that? Because this is a swf file, so I can't convert it to fla.

Hello,
First of all great interface and good job! but is very similar to Surface (Microsoft) no?
Maybe can be a good idea to work in one interface absolutely new and oriented to a multi touch and multi user no?
Best regards,
Thanks for the comments.

Hi!
I think that the best ideas can be something circular (likes Nui framework) but trying to break the circular typical menu...
Or maybe something organic (fluids, etc...)
I don't know... but surface is based in one user ... and it breaks the multi user interface...
Maybe, another idea, can be something like bumptop (desktop in 3d)...
Best regards,
Great work! The main menu is beautiful!
Do you know where I can find the source code of a menu like yours?

Thanks,
